The New England Society in the City of New York hosts an Annual Dinner Dance in November to raise funds for its Scholarship Program and other philanthropic efforts. At the Dinner Dance each year, two awards are presented: the Reginald T. Townsend Award and the J.P. Morgan Award. The Townsend Award honors outstanding achievement representing the finest attributes of the New England character and the J.P. Morgan Award, named for the Society's 26th President, honors a Society member who has rendered outstanding service to the organization.

2018 Annual Dinner Dance

The 2018 Reginald T. Townsend Award will be presented to Peter C. Sutton, The Susan E. Lynch Executive Director of the Bruce Museum.

The New England Society’s 212th Annual Dinner Dance will take place on Friday, November 9, at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.
