"Friendship, Charity and Mutual Assistance"

Become a member of the New England Society!

The Society celebrates New England heritage through its charitable works and social activities for members and guests. All members share an affinity for New England and meet one or more of the following requirements:

           1. EDUCATION: The candidate attended a New England school or college.

           2. DOMICILE: The candidate resides or resided in New England.

           3. ANCESTRY: The candidate has proof of New England ancestry.

If you would like to apply for membership, please fill out an application and return it to the Society's Office.  There is an online application or click on the PDF below and mail it to the office. Candidates require a Proposer and a Seconder.  Proposers will be asked to write a letter of recommendation, and candidates will be asked to verify their eligibility.

If you are interested in joining, but do not have a Proposer, you are invited to attend an event to introduce yourself to the Society.   Candidates will be contacted by the Admissions Committee and asked to attend a special reception.  If approved, the new member will be notified promptly of Initiation Fee ($100 for applicants over 35 years of age, $50 for applicants under) and Annual Dues ($125).

Thank you for your interest.

Also, friends that are not eligible to join are welcome at events, but pay a different price for admission.  Also contact the office if you wish to join our mailing list to receive invitations and/or newsletters.
