New England Society Membership Benefits 1. The Society's Social Network: The New England Society provides a unique network of individuals who share a cultural link related to New England residence, ancestry or education. Members have pride in their affiliation and enjoy supporting the Scholarship Program.

3. Make A Difference Membership – Castine Candle Company: Sign up for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. Purchase one 26 oz candle per month ($18.95), and 30% of the proceeds will go to NES. 5. Regency Whist Club Dining Membership: NES members are eligible to become Dining Members of the Regency Whist Club. Annual dues are $1200 and are billed monthly for usage. The club is located 15 East 67th Street.
6. Special Events: The Society hosts at least six events each year. The Annual Meeting is a free cocktail reception for members only, held in October. Also, the Members Only Party is a free cocktail reception held in the NES office for members who pay their dues early. Other events allow members to bring guests, however non-members pay a higher price of admission. Members receive invitations by mail and by email.
7. Quarterly Newsletter: The Society prints a newsletter four times a year which is mailed to members and is also available online. The newsletter announces scholarship recipients, reports on upcoming and previous events, and includes photos and messages from the Board or Scholars.
