The New England Society relies on the active participation of its members. At present, the Society's Committees listed below have vacancies.  Volunteering on and/or leading a committee is a benefit of membership. All volunteers need to be dues-paying members in good standing.

Admissions Committee

Overseas and manages all matters relating to the admissions process for new members.


Book Awards Committee

Develop, manage and oversee the annual New England Society Book Awards Program and luncheon. In charge of developing plans and budget guidelines for event. 


Communications Committee

Work to create policies and plans for marketing NES and its activities. 


Develop and oversee the creation of different fundraising opportunities for members; define locate, corporate, and New England connections. Manage efforts to raise funds for NES philanthropic activities.

Fundraising & Corporate Outreach


Seeks to create a stronger community of Jr. Members and cultivate a deeper sense of engagement of the Jr. Membership with the larger membership. Work with recruitment, retention, and prospective Jr. Members via a variety of platforms and in person experiences. Plan Junior activities.
